Yearly Appraisal of the Chinese Government Scholarship
1.根据中国国家留学基金管理委员会的规定，在华学习一年以上享受中国政府奖学金的留学生均应接受年度评审。评审内容包括：学习态度、考绩考勤、行为表现、奖惩情况等。
According
to the regulations by China Scholarship Council, the students who study for over
one year in China on the Chinese Government Scholarship should be evaluated
according to their study attitude, attendance of class, behavior, awards and
punishments,
etc.
2.凡通过年度评审者，将继续享受下一学年奖学金；凡未通过年度评审者，将被终止享受奖学金的资格，终止的期限为一年。
Those who
pass the evaluation will continue to enjoy next year’s scholarship. Those who
fail in the appraisal will be suspended of the scholarship. The duration is one
year.
3.未通过年度评审的学生，在下一年奖学金评审时提出书面申请，经学校考核后，报送国家留学基金管理委员会核准，方可享受奖学金。
Those
who fail to pass the appraisal should apply next year. They are subject to the
evaluation conducted by the school, as well as the approval of China Scholarship
Council.
4.申请延长奖学金的留学生，应准备本人书面申请和任课教师的推荐信，并直接向使馆提出申请。学校在收到个人申请、推荐信和使馆同意该生继续学习的信函后，会向使馆发出学校同意该生继续学习的信函。根据国家留学基金管理委员会要求，使馆在收到学校的同意信函后，于每年5月底以前向国家留学基金管理委员会提出申请。凡申请延长奖学金的留学生，应参加年度评审。
Students
who want to prolong their scholarship should present a written application and a
letter of recommendation by his teacher and apply to China’s embassy in their
home country directly. This university will send a notice to China’s embassy
that the university will allow the student to continue his study. The embassy
will apply to China Scholarship Council before the end of May accordingly. Those
students who want to extend their scholarship should be evaluated
yearly.
5.奖学金终止但计划自费继续学习的留学生，必须有在华事务担保人的担保，方可继续学习。
Those who want to
continue their studies without the scholarship should get the financial
guarantee.
