签证和居留许可办理  Visa and Residence Permit：
凡持X签证者，必须在来华30天内办理居留许可手续。X-visa holders must apply for residence permit within 30 days upon arrival.
办理居留许可须提交材料  Material for residence permit：
1.护照和签证原件及复印件
 passport and visa, as well as photocopy of passport and visa.
2.交《境外人员临时住宿登记表》，必须到达后24小时到派出所登记。
办理地址：龙口中路152号，石牌派出所。
Hand in《Temporary residence registration from for foreigners》.
Register at local police station with 24 hours upon arrival.

3.健康证明书

4.提交检测照片回执和纸质相片。
办理地址：华南师范大学西门八景照相馆。

所需费用列表  Fees：

*签证和居留许可以及体检费用，学生自理。
Visa, Residence Permit and body check fees are at the expense of the students.

留学生公寓入住须知  International students apartment information：

注：交换学生的住宿根据两校协议安排。
Notice：Proper housing will be arranged for exchange students according to the agreement or MOU between the partner universities.
入住注意事项  Miscellaneous ：
1.留学生入住前需要办理登记手续，并付房租押金500元人民币（交换学生），房号由管理人员统一安排，不得私自调换；如想换房，须经管理人员同意并办理换房手续。
International students need to register before moving in. 500 RMB of deposit must be paid by exchange students. Rooms are distributed by our staff and cannot be changed without permission.
2.电费每间每月限200度为免费，超额电费照表另计（0.80元/度）
Electricity allowance is 200 kwh per month. Exceeding amount is 0.8 RMB/kwh.
3.房间内装有200卡电话机，首层商务部有卡出售。
There is 200-card phone in each room. 200-card can be bought at the business center of the first floor.
4.需饮水机的同学，请到服务台交200元人民币押金办理登记手续。购水费为10元人民币/桶。
Drinking fountain is available at front desk. A deposit of 200 RMB must be paid and water is 10 RMB/barrel.。
5.需办理网络的同学请联系服务台填表，登记姓名、证件号码、密码和计算机物理地址，网络使用费：300元人民币/年或120元人民币/4个月。
Internet application form is available at front desk. Internet fee：300 RMB/year or 120RMB/4个月。
6.需租用电冰箱的学生每月租金80元人民币/台。
Fridge can be rented at 80 RMB/month.
7.交换学生有60元/月洗衣卡，超过部分自购。
Exchange students are offered a laundry card of 60 RMB each month.

保险须知  Insurance：
    华南师范大学要求，留学生在校学习期间必须有医疗保险。留学生所购买的保险至少要包括意外伤害和住院医疗两种，购买保险的费用自理。
    留学生可以在来华之前购买医疗保险，也可以在抵华后购买。购买保险时应向保险公司详细询问如何在中国使用医疗保险，以及指定医疗机构的联系方法。
    留学生应向学校提交有关保险或公证单位出具的证明，证明其在校学习期间享受至少包括意外伤害和住院医疗的保险服务。证明应为中文或英文。
对于没有医疗保险的留学生，在校学习期间发生了意外或病痛，一切责任由本人负责。
*华南师范大学统一留学生保险费用：600元人民币/年。
SCNU requires that international students have health insurance, which should at least cover both hospital treatment and accidental damage. Health insurance cost is at the students’ expense.
    Health insurance can be bought before or after student’s arrival.  Please contact your insurance company for more information. Students should submit insurance receipt to prove they have insurance of both accidental damage and hospital treatment. The insurance receipt must be in Chinese or English.
SCNU is not responsible for those who don’t have insurance.
Insurance cost at SCNU is 600 RMB/year.

教材费用  Book fees：
自理。日本神户女子大学、日本天理大学、日本兵库教育大学、韩国汉阳大学交换学生的必修课教材费由我校支付。
Books are at the expense of the students. Exchange students fromHyogo University of Teacher Education, Yukiyoshi Institute, Hangyang University and Tenri University are offered free textbooks for theirmandatory courses.

交换生生活补贴领取须知  Stipend for exchange students：
    有生活补贴奖学金的交换留学生（日本神户女子大学、日本天理大学、日本兵库教育大学、韩国汉阳大学）每月5日（如遇休息日，时间后移）起三个工作日内到国际交流合作处财务室（留学生公寓1楼）领取当月生活补贴。如过时未领，请与下个月同一时间一起领取。
Exchange students who are offered stipend（ Hanyang University, Yukiyoshi Institute, Hyogo University of Teacher Education and Tenri University）can go to the Finance Room (first floor of the apartment building) of Foreign Affairs Office on the 5th of each month (or the subsequent 3 business days)to get the stipend. If youmiss the time, the stipend can be also acquired next month.

专业课听课申请：
请汉语言文学专业以外的其他专业同学填写好《华南师范大学交换留学生听专业课申请表》与《PICK-UP申请书》一同发邮件给我们，我们会提前为你办理。
注：华南师范大学的专业课授课语言是中文（普通话）。学生先填写学习专业，具体课程到校后选择。
Application for academic courses:
Those who don’t major in Chinese Language and Literature please fill SCNU International Students’ Application Form for Academic Courses and email it to us along with Pick-up Application. We will process them in advance.
Notice: The academic courses are taught in Mandarin Chinese. Students need to choose a major, then specific major after arriving at school.
